I’m currently reading Donald Trump’s book, “The Art of the Deal” which is quite interesting. I found his little auto-biography really boring but the book does offer some interesting insights. Additionally, I’m also watching “The Apprentice” starting from the First Season, which I’ve finished. I watched the whole season in just a couple of days which has made me feel a bit sick of the show.
Anyhow, I noticed that quotes mentioned in the show do seem to parallel what is said in the book. One of the quotes I remembered is the “Think Big” one. Donald Trump clearly only has time to think big with his billion-dollar deals (a lot of which I think are just shit anyway). Is it applicable to the rest of us?
Well, first of all, what the fuck does it mean anyway? Does mean I can only think about what all the big players are doing and not what the local businesses are doing?
It’s important not to get too caught up in the little things, but by the same token, you need to give it the attention it requires. We’ve all gotta start somewhere, right?
